• Listen for oncoming cars. Cars can be hidden behind trees, parked cars, or obstacles.
• Use sidewalks when you can. If there is no sidewalk, walk facing oncoming traffic.
• Where bright clothing or reflective gear when it gets dark. 
• Walk with parents, other students, or a buddy. 
• Follow directions from crossing guards and safety partrols.

Driving Safety Tips:

• Park in legal parking spaces and avoid double parking or blocking driveways.
• Follow school drop off rules and pickup rules.
• Slow down.
• Always yield to people crossing mid street, at crosswalks, or intersections.
• Keep crosswalks, busstops, and driveways clear.
• Know school bus paddle laws.
