Montlake Freeway Station closes in June 2019. To preserve evening and weekend access between the Eastside and the University District, Sound Transit is adding evening and weekend service on Route 542 beginning March 23. ST Express service changes for March 23, 2019: 

Route 510: New trips departing Everett Station at 9:05 and 9:25 a.m.

Route 512: Northbound stop at NE 145th St moved to 5th Ave NE just north of NE 145th St.

Route 513: Serves Seaway Transit Center, stops at Evergreen Way/79th Pl moved to Casino Rd/Evergreen Way.

Route 541: Stops added near 156th Ave NE and NE 31st St.

Route 542: New service on weeknights, Saturdays and Sundays.

Route 545: Stop on 164th Ave NE at NE 80th St moved to Redmond Way NE at 166th Ave NE.

Route 550: No longer serves the downtown tunnel. Buses to Seattle use 4th Ave and buses to Bellevue use 2nd Ave.

Route 554: New midday trips to operate every 20 minutes and minor time adjustments.

Route 555: Service between Bellevue Transit Center and Issaquah Highlands discontinued.

Route 577: New trips departing Downtown Seattle at 1:52 p.m. and 2:27 p.m.

Route 578: Trip departing Downtown Seattle at 1:57pm discontinued and minor time adjustments.

Route 580: Morning trips from Puyallup to Lakewood and afternoon trips from Lakewood to Puyallup discontinued. Only select trips will operate to and from Lakewood.

Route 590: New trip departing Tacoma Dome at 3:48 a.m.

Route 592: New trip departing Downtown Seattle at 2:28 p.m. and minor time adjustments.

Route 596: Trip departing Bonney Lake P&R at 10:30 a.m. discontinued.
