Help shape the future of transit on the Eastside, join the East Link Connections Mobility Board.

A compensated volunteer leadership opportunity. 

Metro and Sound Transit are recruiting for the East Link Connections Mobility Board, which is a co-led process for improving transit connections throughout the Eastside as Link light rail service expands through 2024. 

Are you someone who…

  • Lives, works, and/or travels within Eastside communities, including but not limited to areas east and south of Kenmore, east of the I-90 and SR 520 bridges, north of east Renton, like Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland and west of Sammamish and Issaquah
  • Is a transit rider or a potential transit rider on any of the following routes: 8, 111, 114, 167, 204, 212, 214, 216, 217, 218, 219, 221, 224, 225, 226, 232, 237, 240, 241, 245, 246, 249, 250, 252, 257, 268, 269, 271, 311, 342, 541, 542, 544, 545, 550, 554, 555, 556, 630, B Line, 930, 931 
  • Is able to bring your perspective as an individual, not representing the interests of an organization
  • Is willing and interested in drawing connections between racial equity, transportation issues, and access to opportunities?

Mobility Board members will be compensated $50 per hour for their work in meetings/workshops and engagement conducted in the community. The Mobility Board will gather virtually 2 – 4 hours per month from April 2021 through early 2022.
