SchoolPool - the Results Are In!

This year all 10 Redmond schools in the Lake Washington School District participated in the SchoolPool program, which works to get more kids out walking, riding, or carpooling to school, and less cars on the road.
The 2018/2019 school year brought our first time with 100% participation from qualifying schools in both the October "Walk to School Month" and May "Bike to School Month" sessions of SchoolPool, and we saw record numbers of participants. Check out some of the awesome results below!
Students who participated not only learned life long habits of a safe and healthy commute, but earned loads of free prizes generously donated by community partners including: a mini meal from Lunchbox Labs, free skate on the Redmond Town Center holiday skate rink, and a free round of putt putt golf at Rainbow Run Golf Course at Willows Run.
We look forward to kicking off the 2019/2020 school year with this great momentum, but first..... Summer!
