Help Improve Transportation in Redmond
Be on the look out for an invitation to participate in an important travel survey.
The City of Redmond and Puget Sound Regional Council are teaming up to gather data on travel patterns in Redmond and the rest of the region and we’re asking for your help.
In a few weeks you may receive an invitation to participate in a travel diary survey, in which participants track their trips and manner of travel over a period of time. This data is critical to the City’s ability to understand transportation in Downtown and other places, and helps planners design effective solutions to our transportation problems.
The City is investing resources to collect additional samples in Downtown Redmond so that we can better understand what’s working and what’s not in this important urban center. But to achieve useful data we need a higher-than-average participation rate. When you get your invitation please consider participating in the survey. In addition to the satisfaction you’ll get from helping to guide the future of transportation in Redmond you will also receive a monetary incentive.
Thank you in advance. If you have any questions feel free to contact City planner Patrick McGrath at pbmcgrath@redmond.gov. You can read about the previous 2014-2015 household survey here.
