Redmond Bike and Scooter Share

Vision 

Bicycle and scooter sharing support the City’s vision in the Transportation Master Plan (TMP) to improve travel choices and mobility.

  • Provides short-trip options for Redmond travelers

  • 170,000+ riders, 300,000+ riders
  • 200,000+ kg CO2 reduced

Safety Guidelines

Before riding: 

  • Wear a helmet (strongly encouraged)
  • Follow all traffic laws. 
  • Yield to pedestrians on sidewalks or multi-use paths
  • Follow City, County and State trail rules
  • Park bikes and scooters correctly

Report issues:

Helmets: Available at a vendor events or from Redmond Police with a $10 donation (call Redmond Police at 425-556-2525) 

Ride safely:

  • Use bike lanes, trails, or roadways
  • Do not ride on sidewalks
  • Walk bikes/scooters to sidewalk parking areas

Information for drivers 

  • Bikes and scooters are allowed in roadways, bike lanes or trails
  • Slow down and leave three feet when passing

How to find and rent a scooter 

  • Download the Lime app on your Apple or Android device. 
  • Locate a scooter available for rent using the app, or find one parked around the City. 
  • Find the vehicles 6-digit QR code on the handlebar
  • Ride the scooter!
  • Park and lock in the app to finish

  • If you don’t have a smart phone: text 1-888-495-5014
  • No credit card needed: After you qualify for Lime Access, you will receive a PayNearMe payment code.
    • Take the code to a participating location
    • Show the code to the clerk and pay with cash
    • Keep your receipt as proof of payment
