Program Overview

Go Redmond educates and inspires the community to embrace a culture of walking, biking, ridesharing, and transit in Redmond.

Go Redmond is a partnership between the City of Redmond, Move Redmond, and King County Metro. The program provides resources and education to community members, so that everyone can choose different travel options to get to where they want to go safely and efficiently.

Getting Around Redmond

The City of Redmond offers convenient access for commuters, residents, and visitors with well-connected transportation options. With close proximity to major roads like SR 520 and I-405, it’s easy to travel to Seattle and other Eastside cities. Public transit, including buses and light rail, provides additional accessibility for all community members. Plus, Redmond offers an extensive network of bike-friendly paths and walkable areas, catering to those looking for sustainable ways to get around.

Employers

Go Redmond is available to help you develop, fund, and implement a transportation program that accounts for the unique needs at your worksite. A strong Commute Trip Reduction Program is a great benefit to employers and helps to ensure employ retention. Through grants, navigating local and state regulations, maps, business directories, and so much more, Go Redmond is here to help make your workplace thrive.

SchoolPool

Learn more about how to walk and bike safely to school and how to start your own walking or biking school bus called SchoolPool through our SchoolPool program. Go Redmond encourages PTSA leaders to coordinate with parents and school officials to organize active and safe ways to get students to and from the classroom.

Log Your Trips

Go Redmond will help you find all your commute and travel options and earn rewards for leaving your car behind. When you add trips to your calendar, you can see the environmental impact you’re having and how much money you’re saving!
